The Jolly Joker is a family business that has been located at the Nieuwmarkt since 1981. The historic corner building is build in 1805 and in 1875 till 1905 there was a hat & cap factory. In the 70's there used to be a coffeehouse with an illegal gambling house above it, which is where the name Jolly Joker comes from. The Joker from the card game.
